9/5 is an improper fraction!

Learning intention: We are learning to develop our understanding of our number knowledge.
Success criteria: I know I can do this when I explain that improper fraction is when the numerator is larger than or equal to the denominator.

Sharing my thinking in move note

I have been an snail array. I used move note to video myself explaining strategy to count the snails counted by 5 ,10 ,15, 20.

My grouping within Ten

This is my grouping within ten. Today I have been learning to use the shape tool and paint bucket to show my grouping within ten. My grouping within ten was 3 + 7 = 10. I used the diamond shape tool to do this.

My maths pattern by Vaughan

                                    Today I used the Google drawing to create a repeating pattern using triangle shape.I learn how to turn the shape up side down.I use black for my background. I also  used the colour green, and yellow for my triangle colour.

My three patten

                                  Today I used Google draw to draw my three shapes pattern.I used arrow, oval ,and corner rectangle.I used black for my background and I used yellow,light blue , and red to colour my shapes.

Making patten

 Today I have been making repeating pattern.  And I have been working how to put my Google drawing on the  blog. . I used the same shape  and  two different colours, they were green and red.

Popular pets in Room 5L

 The turtles are the most popular pets Room 5L. They were popular because they have a hard shell
and they have patterns on their back.The least popular pet were birds because they scatter their seeds on the floor and you cannot cuddle a bird. Only nine students chose birds as their favourite pets.

Estimation

WALT  estimate and measure in cm and m.
Estimate means take a guess. When we estimate we use information we already know then try  to guess an answer as
close as possible to the  correct measurement.
After we estimate  we need to check to see if our   estimate
is correct.
To learn this we flew our plane.
My  estimation was 3 m and  27 cm.
My plane actually flew 4 m 15 cm.
My estimation was wrong.
